Zovo Cryptogram Maker turns your favourite quotes into printable cryptogram puzzles, also called cryptoquotes. Each puzzle uses its own substitution key in which no letter stands for itself and each letter has a single partner. Add hint letters, a letter-count helper grid and large print for seniors, and get an answer key page. A second tool suggests readings for a cryptogram you are stuck on and says how sure it is.

Limitations

Only the letters A to Z are enciphered; accented letters (é, ł, ü) and other alphabets are printed as they are
Letter ciphers only, no symbol or number ciphers
The solver reads English only and ranks readings by word frequency without grammar; short texts, names, pangrams and rare words can give a wrong reading, which it marks as low or medium confidence with alternatives
PDF text prints Latin, Greek and Cyrillic letters; Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew and emoji are left out of the PDF
